Yana has a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics from Saint Petersburg State University, one of Russia’s most prestigious academic institutions. She has also reached the level of mastery in English Language, gaining Cambridge’s C2 Proficiency award.
Tom became an English teacher for the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. He started in Tanzania in 2005 and went on to work in the UK, Poland, Portugal, Kuwait, Brazil, the UAE, Russia and Spain. After a decade of international work placements he settled in Spain. Since then, he and Yana have become specialised in helping students pass English language exams.
Yana and Tom have worked at the university, businesses and academies in the city of Almería, Andalucia. Yana has a keen interest in teaching methodology and stays up to date with the latest innovations in teaching. Tom
comes from a family of English teachers so you might say that teaching is in the blood!
